This is an in-office position that requires on-site presence five days a week at the Poway, CA office.

The Warehouse Associate supports and carries out job functions associated with distribution and stockroom activities of Senko fiber optic component products. They are responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and packing and shipping orders.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process daily sales orders, including order printing, labeling, picking, verification, documentation, and shipment preparation.
- Review Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) and non-conforming/discrepant materials on a monthly basis.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of operational errors and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with warehouse quality standards.
- Complete and document corrective action requests related to warehouse operations and departmental responsibilities.
- Manage packaging materials inventory and drive continuous improvements to packaging processes and efficiency.
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment and ensure proper storage and handling of products.
- Ensure warehouse tools and equipment are properly maintained, inspected, and available for operational use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Support ISO compliance activities and assist the Quality Assurance team in maintaining ISO standards and documentation requirements.
- Perform receiving activities and verify the accuracy and quality of incoming shipments as needed.
- Manually shrink-wrap palletized outbound shipments to ensure safe and secure transportation.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, packing, picking, inventory control, and barcode scanning preferred.
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and other freight/shipping systems and package-handling applications is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping best practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to perform physical activities including bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
- Frequent use of computer equipment, keyboards, barcode scanners, and related data-entry tools.
- Ability to move inventory and materials using manual material handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Ability to safely climb stairs and access products stored on elevated shelving as needed.
