Position Summary

The Cage Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily Cage operations while safeguarding company assets and ensuring all internal control procedures are followed. This position oversees Cage Team Members, maintains accurate control of monetary transactions, and ensures compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, internal controls, and applicable federal and state laws.

The Cage Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and address irregularities within Cage operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Safeguards company assets and maintains the integrity of Cage operations.
  • Supervises Cage personnel and daily Cage activities.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls.
  • Maintains control and accurate inventory of currency, coins, checks, related forms, and documentation.
  • Ensures Cage transactions and activities are properly documented and completed accurately.
  • Maintains the records necessary to support accurate and orderly Cage operations.
  • Assists the Cage Shift Manager with the evaluation, training, and development of Cage personnel.
  • Assists with recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, counseling, and other personnel-related matters as needed.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding internal activities, financial information, and company operations.
  • Identifies and reports irregularities or concerns in accordance with established procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and multiple shift start times based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of Cage experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations related to casino operations.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position operates within a casino and hospitality environment. Team Members may be exposed to loud noise, secondhand smoke, varying work conditions, and multiple shift schedules.

The position requires the ability to move throughout assigned work areas and perform the physical functions necessary for Cage operations. Team Members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties requiring hand and finger dexterity, coordination, concentration, analytical thinking, mathematical calculations, and prolonged mental focus.

Travel Requirements

Travel is not required for this position.

Certification & Licensing Requirements

  • Must be able to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • This position is not responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages and does not have comp authority.
