Description
Lead with expertise, drive innovation.
Are you an experienced professional ready to take your career to the next level? At Accenture the Netherlands, we're seeking AI Security (Senior) Manager who bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation to help us solve complex challenges and deliver exceptional results. AI security is where cybersecurity is being redefined, and Accenture intends to lead it – backed by a strategic partnership with Anthropic, OpenAI, powered by our Cyber.AI platform, and one of the largest AI capability investments in professional services.
What you'll do:
Architect AI security capability across domains – design how AI-native capability is consumed by identity, detection and response, vulnerability management, GRC, and data security functions as a coherent fabric rather than a patchwork of isolated point solutions.
Architect secure AI systems – threat modelling, adversarial testing and red-teaming, MLSecOps, model and pipeline security, secure-by-design for agentic AI, and AI security posture management.
Translate control frameworks into engineering practice – take the OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, and Accenture's internal Secure AI controls and turn them into concrete guidance that client development and MLOps teams can implement.
Work as a forward-deployed engineer where the work demands it – configure and deploy Cyber.AI, design and build agents on the Anthropic stack, extend Agent Shield governance, and integrate AI capability into client environments. This role expects hands-on delivery, not advisory-only engagement.
Lead technical delivery on client engagements, owning the technical direction of AI security workstreams from scoping through to implementation and handover.
Contribute across the full cycle – technical, consulting, and commercial, including RFPs, proposals, solutioning, and opportunity development.
Grow technical capability by mentoring more junior colleagues and raising the technical bar of the practice as it scales.
How We Reinvent
At Accenture, our teams operate within one of our core service lines – Digital Core, Industry & Enterprise, Supply Chain & Engineering, Cybersecurity, Song, Finance, Talent, Client Groups, Global Operations, Reinvention Services – each designed to drive reinvention at scale. This role falls under Cybersecurity, where we combine deep industry expertise with cutting-edge technology to help clients secure the AI systems they are building, and to deliver security itself through AI – protecting our clients as they reinvent.
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of security consultants, AI and forward-deployed engineers, architects, and industry specialists, working collaboratively to solve complex challenges and shape the future of intelligent business. Whether it's transforming digital cores, embedding AI into operations, or designing human-centric experiences, our teams are empowered to innovate boldly and deliver measurable impact.
We go to market by industry, leveraging our global delivery network and strategic partnerships with ecosystem leaders like Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, AWS, and Google. Our culture of shared success and continuous learning ensures that every team member contributes to – and benefits from – our reinvention journey.
What we're looking for:
Education: Education: Master's degree in a relevant field – computer science, cybersecurity, information security, artificial intelligence, engineering, or similar.
Experience: Approximately 7–10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, technology consulting, security engineering, or a closely related field.
Skills: Demonstrable hands-on experience building or securing AI systems, incl. LLM applications, agentic architectures, ML pipelines, or equivalent. Strong security architecture background with the ability to reason at capability and platform level rather than individual control level. Practical fluency with modern AI engineering, such as APIs, agent frameworks, tool use, retrieval architectures, model deployment patterns. Evidence of translating security frameworks or policy into engineering practice with development teams. Familiarity with modern AI architecture – how LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, and model deployment patterns fit together, and where the security-relevant seams are.
Leadership: The ability to think about AI in security as a cross-domain capability rather than a set of use cases bolted onto existing tooling. Credibility with both engineers and senior client stakeholders (CISO, Head of SOC, Head of IT Operations). Experience leading engagement teams and developing others, alongside personal technical depth – this is a playing-coach role, not a pure management position. Comfort setting technical direction in an emerging discipline where the playbooks are still being written.
Bonus points for:
Consulting or professional services background.
Dutch language proficiency.
Experience with the Microsoft security stack (Defender for AI, Purview, Azure AI Foundry), AWS, or Google Cloud AI security tooling.
Working knowledge of modern AI platform architecture, incl. Anthropic (Claude, MCP, agent SDKs), OpenAI, and open-weight model deployment patterns, and how these are integrated into enterprise environments.
Open-source contributions, published research, conference speaking, or other visible technical credibility in AI security.
Relevant certifications (ISACA AAISM, CompTIA SecAI+, Claude Certified Architect, or equivalent).
What we offer:
Work-Life Flexibility: 4x9 Workweek Option, Hybrid Working, FlexDay
Financial Well-being: Competitive Base Salary, MyBenefits Budget, Annual Bonus, Net Allowance, Employee Share Purchase Plan
Health & Wellness: Collective Health Insurance Scheme, Mental Health Support, Well-being Hub
Time Off & Leave: 26 Vacation Days, Special Leave Types (parental leave, partner leave, bereavement leave, and gender affirmation leave), Culture Days
Mobility & Commuting: NS Business Card, Mobility Budget (option to choose between electric bike, car lease, or public transport reimbursement)
Career Development: Performance Achievement Program, Learning & Development Platform, Guidance from People Leads
Inclusion, Diversity & Social Impact: Do Good Volunteer Program, I&D Networks, Refugee Talent Track
Culture & Community: Accentrics & Friday Drinks, Annual Accenture NL Party, Flat Organizational Hierarchy
