FT – Day (Monday to Friday, 7:30am -3:30pm).

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Landscape Laborer to help maintain the beauty, safety, and overall appearance of our Wesley Enhanced Living Communities. This role plays an important part in creating a peaceful, attractive outdoor environment for our residents, families, and staff. The ideal candidate is respectful, patient, and enjoys working in an environment that serves older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and common outdoor areas across the community
- Mow, edge, trim, and fertilize turf areas
- Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance campus aesthetics
- Perform seasonal clean-up including leaf removal, mulching, and snow/ice removal
- Ensure walkways, entrances, and outdoor spaces are safe, clean, and hazard-free for residents
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and responsibly
- Assist with irrigation systems and basic grounds maintenance tasks
- Interact courteously with residents and respond to questions or concerns professionally
Qualifications:
- Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of horticulture or plant care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
