How you'll make an impact in this role

• Provide crucial technical support and pharmacy services to the Pharmacist, ensuring the accurate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders.
• Maintain the continuity of patient care by precisely preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounds and managing the repackaging of bulk medications.
• Optimize pharmacy workflow and inventory by refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems and efficiently managing incoming supplies and department stock.
• Serve as a communication liaison, triaging incoming calls and providing essential information between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
