We are looking for a motivated and people focused Team Leader to support and lead a team of Customer Service Representatives in our fast-paced Customer Services Centre.
This role is ideal for someone who has already developed solid leadership foundations and is ready to take the next step. You'll lead a team of Customer Service Representatives while developing a deep understanding of our business, customer journeys, booking processes, and technical product knowledge, including vehicle glass identification.
You will lead a team of up to 10 Customer Service Representatives (expanding to 12 during peak season), providing day-to-day coaching, support, and performance feedback to drive team success.
As our Auckland-based Team Leader, you'll be an important part of a wider leadership team based across Auckland and Napier. Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and collaborate with peers across locations while maintaining a strong local presence for your team.
We're looking for someone who brings positivity, initiative, and a genuine passion for helping people grow. Someone who enjoys taking ownership, developing capability, building engagement, and creating an environment where people are motivated to perform at their best.
Location: Mt Wellington, Auckland
Hours: 40hrs per week, including rostered Saturdays (rotation)
What we’re looking for:
- A proven people leader with experience leading teams in a customer service, contact centre, or similarly fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who takes ownership, shows initiative, and doesn't wait to be told what needs to happen.
- Strong coaching and development skills, with the ability to lift confidence, capability, and accountability within a team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across different locations.
- A desire to learn the operational and technical side of the business, including customer booking processes and vehicle glass products.
- A positive, energetic leadership style that helps create engagement and momentum within a team.
- Confidence working independently while remaining highly connected to a wider leadership group.
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuously developing yourself and those around you.
