Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized dispatcher to join our team in our Ogden office. This onsite position serves as the central point of contact for customers and field technicians, helping ensure service requests are scheduled, tracked, and completed efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Pay: $18-$21 per hour, based on experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule Service Appointments: Coordinate daily schedules for field technicians and manage incoming service requests.
- Customer Support: Communicate with customers regarding appointment availability, service updates, and general inquiries.
- Field Coordination: Provide technicians with job details, customer information, and any necessary documentation before arrival.
- Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer accounts.
- Resource Planning: Balance technician workloads and assist with scheduling priorities to maximize efficiency.
- Issue Resolution: Respond to scheduling conflicts, customer concerns, and service-related challenges in a professional manner.
- Administrative Support: Assist with reporting, documentation, and operational tracking as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with operations and leadership teams to support workforce planning and seasonal service demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, dispatching, customer support, or administrative operations preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
- Technology: Comfortable using scheduling software, Microsoft Office applications, and web-based business systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to HVAC, mechanical services, construction, or building automation environments is beneficial but not required.
