HVAC (Rotative Shift)

JOB SUMMARY: Assemble, install, alter, and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. May install heating and cooling equipment and mechanical control systems. Includes sprinkler fitters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.
• Following established safety rules, regulations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

REQUIREMENTS:  

• At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a combination of two or more skilled trades including knowledge of and ability to use tools materials and methods
• Highschool Diploma
• Valid Driver’s license
• HVAC technician certified
• Own power tools
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation (OSHA 30 HRS is a plus).
