What impact you’ll make

As an Intern of the Energy Storage Systems Team, you will be an active contributor to the product development of the latest battery energy storage systems and technology for Datacenters, Utilities, and Defense applications.

What you’ll do

  • Support engineering teams developing new battery technology for use in the Utilities, Datacenter, and Defense industries.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Learn about new battery chemistries and assess for technical fit with target applications and technical specifications.
  • Support product management with analysis of product/market fit for new battery technologies and deliverables through stage-gate process.
  • Interface with the advanced research center on testing results.
  • Attend conferences and site visits as needed.
  • Finish internship with report and presentation to upper management.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree in a physical science engineering field, such as but not limited to: Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics / Applied Physics, or Electrical engineering.
     
  • Skills / Experience
    • MS Office Suite, Excel especially.
    • Knowledge of AI tools.

  • You are someone who brings a positive attitude and does not hesitate to dive into new problems.
  • You have experience with batteries, engineering analysis, and/or some business and entrepreneurial acumen.

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
