IT Application Owner is responsible for identifying and assessing the current state of application across entire lifecycle, identifying gaps or potential improvements using their knowledge of infrastructure, service management and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Determining the appropriate technological solutions or approach to balance delivery and compliance;
- Identifying gaps in the current solutions and implementing the associated improvements whilst ensuring compliance with technical roadmaps;
- Improving the safety and security of IT Applications, compliance with internal and external standards and operational readiness, while following the InfoSec policy;
- Supporting the bank’s audit function and the remediation of audit points and issues to reduce risk;
- Identifying and assessing IT Application risk and implementing the appropriate solutions;
- Contributing and assisting the implementation of policy and strategy specific to IT management and Information Security;
- Identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies/approaches into best practice
- SME support for ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the application;
- Ensuring that the changes to the applications in scope are fully aligned to Deutsche Bank standards and regulations. The focus is to guarantee the system stability and to ensure a smooth and successful transition to production, steady-state environment;
- Supporting the strategic planning for the application;
- Managing strategic capacity, consumption and performance management;
- Efficiently engage, manage and influence the main stakeholders, along with the related emerging risks and opportunities;
- Ensuring policy-compliance for the application. Facilitating and contributing to the audit activities;
- Managing software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers.
- Ensuring documentation availability;
- Identifying and managing technical projects necessary to ensure required and established service levels are maintained;
- Working with development teams to estimate work effort throughout different phases of the functional domain deliverables;
- Identifying, documenting and communicating risks and issues discovered during delivery cycle;
- Supporting the vulnerability management process and cyber hygiene process, IAM process and DR compliance.
Skills:
- IT Service Management, IT Governance or IT Project Management background,
- Knowledge about IT policies and Standards(ISO2000, MoR, ISO 2700, COBIT, ITIL, etc)
- Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders and multiple teams. Ability to create and naturally maintain good business relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects;
- Comfortable and flexible in working in highly dynamic environments;
- ITAO has a limited technical hands-on involvement, however, a high-level understanding on the products/technologies below is required, like: Databases Oracle, Application/web servers, Management of security certificates, Server/OS very basic administration, Microservices and SOA architecture, communication and encryption protocols, networking (firewalls, load balancers, etc.), High Availability Architecture, Communication and encryption protocols (SSL, TLS);
- Reasonable understanding and relevant experience in Agile-Scrum delivery and main tools (Jira & Confluence, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Deployment Pipelines);
- 4-5 years of working experience within IT;
- 2-3 years of project management or application owner experience preferred;
- Highly organized and self-driven worker with strong analytical skills. We need a colleague that can work in an autonomous way, independent and reliable; We don`t like to micromanage, but you need to drive your tasks to delivery without escalation or delays;
- Experience working with distributed development teams;
- Experience in finance products is a plus;
