Job Description:

For our project at the ITER site, we are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team and support the successful delivery of a major international construction project.

Responsabilities:

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and statutory requirements, promptly addressing any unsafe conditions or non-conformances.
• Attend coordination meetings with the client, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Develop, review and monitor short-term programmes with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure planned progress is achieved.
• Monitor plant, labour, material usage and programme performance to support efficient project delivery.
• Produce as-built measurements and comparison against project drawings and specifications
• Communicate key construction information clearly to foremen and operatives to ensure works are delivered safely and correctly.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key skills and experience:

• First experience of working in construction (on-site)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels
• Degree or master’s in engineering (Civils, Building or similar)
• Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving
• A proven team player who can effectively work with others
• Proactive approach to working and learning
• Familiar with all Microsoft packages
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of Spanish or French would be an asset
