Sr Prin Business Process Consultant

Manage a portfolio of AI and automation opportunities across multiple Finance domains, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Tax, Treasury, and other functions. Establish disciplined practices for demand intake, opportunity assessment, prioritization, sequencing, business-case development, delivery tracking, risk management, and value realization. Work closely with the RTR, PTP, OTC, and future Global Process Owners to translate process roadmaps into prioritized AI and automation opportunities. Facilitate process-discovery and future-state-design sessions, challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities to eliminate manual effort, improve controls, strengthen user experience, and create more intelligent end-to-end processes. In collaboration with Finance stakeholders and the IT AI team, determine whether the most effective solution should use agentic AI, generative AI, machine learning, RPA, workflow, rules-based automation, document processing, analytics, process redesign, or a hybrid approach. Define user journeys, business rules, decision points, human-in-the-loop controls, exception handling, data requirements, success measures, and adoption needs. Apply the right technology to the problem rather than defaulting to AI. Evaluate RPA, workflow, APIs, machine learning, document processing, rules engines, process mining, and other automation options, including hybrid designs that improve control, reliability, scalability, and economics. Implement Finance AI and automation governance aligned with UKG's enterprise standards for AI, security, data, privacy, legal, risk, and internal controls. Apply clear criteria for citizen-led, guided, and centrally built solutions. Ensure financially significant, higher-risk, or process-embedded use cases receive appropriate business review, technical assessment, testing, control design, documentation, approval, monitoring, and support. Ensure implementation success is measured not only by technical deployment, but by actual usage, process improvement, and business outcomes. Establish clear business cases, baselines, and performance measures for AI and automation investments. Delivery predictability and stakeholder satisfaction. Development of Finance and team capability in AI, automation, and agentic process design. Establish a strong operating rhythm for Finance AI and automation portfolio execution, including intake, prioritization, governance, delivery tracking, and value realization. Build a prioritized pipeline of high-value opportunities with the RTR, PTP, and OTC Global Process Owners. Establish consistent functional-design standards for AI and automation, including human-in-the-loop controls, exception handling, governance, monitoring, and business ownership. Improve coordination and ways of working across Finance Digital Enablement, Business Owners, Global Process Owners, the IT AI team, and Transformation Delivery & Enablement. Implement clear portfolio reporting that provides transparency into priorities, delivery progress, risks, adoption, technical dependencies, and expected value. Develop reusable Finance AI and automation patterns that reduce time to design and accelerate future use-case delivery. Build and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting agentic, AI-enabled, and traditional automation initiatives. Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to Global Process Owners, Business Owners, and IT leaders on how emerging technologies can practically transform Finance and Accounting. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA, master's degree, or relevant advanced certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance transformation, AI, intelligent automation, digital enablement, enterprise process management, technology strategy, or related fields, including experience leading complex cross-functional transformation initiatives. Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and implementing AI and intelligent automation solutions within Finance and Accounting, with measurable business outcomes across areas such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, or related Finance functions. Strong knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, intelligent document processing, natural-language technologies, RPA, workflow, rules-based automation, process mining, and hybrid solution patterns. Experience leading the functional design of AI-enabled or automated business processes, including user journeys, orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls, exception handling, business rules, testing, monitoring, and adoption. Proven experience managing AI, automation, or transformation portfolios, including demand intake, opportunity assessment, prioritization, business-case development, governance, delivery tracking, and value realization. Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, internal controls, auditability, data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI requirements. Demonstrated success partnering with Finance executives, Business Owners, Global Process Owners, IT AI teams, architects, engineers, risk functions, and technology vendors. Experience leading both citizen-led enablement and centrally governed AI or automation programs, with a clear understanding of when each delivery model is appropriate. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into functional solution designs, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Experience leading and developing teams in AI, automation, process transformation, or digital enablement. Demonstrated curiosity and passion for emerging technologies, with a track record of evaluating, adopting, and scaling innovative solutions. Experience working within the technology industry, preferably in a Software-as-a-Service environment, strongly preferred. Exceptional strategic thinking, executive communication, facilitation, change leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
