Are you outgoing, friendly, and energized by helping people? Trax Credit Union is looking for a people-first Teller who loves creating great member experiences, building relationships, and making a positive impact with every interaction. In this role, you’ll be a trusted first point of contact for our members. You’ll handle transactions accurately, uncover member needs, and connect people with solutions that support their financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
- Build relationships through conversation, active listening, and personalized service
- Process cash, check, and other routine transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cash controls, balance work accurately, and follow operational procedures
- Identify member needs and recommend helpful products and services
- Support branch referral goals through natural, solution-focused conversations
- Make follow-up calls to strengthen member relationships and provide support
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to support branch operations
Requirements
- Six months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
- Strong communication and people skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM-12:00PM. Occasional travel to other branches or for training may be required.
