Circle Lead, Central Dealing

We are seeking a highly motivated Circle Lead, Central Dealing to join RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing trade execution activities across various asset classes, including equity markets, money market placements, deposit placements, and feeder funds. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, adherence to investment mandates, and the prudent management of dealing activities while leading a high-performing team.

What you will be doing

• Manage and oversee trade execution processes for equity markets, money market placements, deposit placements, and feeder funds
• Manage the opening and maintenance of trading accounts, including ensuring compliance with CUTS rules
• Ensure all regulatory requirements, investment mandate guidelines, and internal policies are fully complied with
• Prepare and coordinate reports required by various stakeholders, including internal departments and external auditors
• Monitor and strengthen operational controls to ensure dealing activities are conducted in a prudent and compliant manner
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, custodians, brokers, and fund management teams to facilitate smooth execution of transactions
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and risk management
• Lead and support the Central Dealing team in achieving operational excellence and service delivery standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in asset management, investment operations, central dealing, fund operations, treasury operations, or a related financial services environment
• Strong understanding of capital markets, trade execution processes, and investment products
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and investment mandate controls
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and develop a team
