Description
Our client is a catering, logistics and facilities management company; which services a wide range of clients such as mining sites, offshore drilling platforms, hospitals, airlines, etc.
A big focus of the company is remote oil and gas operations, and this position is for one of their sites in Indonesia.
This role will be based in the Head Office in Jakarta and will require regular travel for site visits, and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Please note that this position is available for Expats only.
Responsibilities (included but not limited to)
• Lead and oversee overall project operations, including catering, hospitality and logistics
• Develop and implement operational plans while ensuring financial and service performance
• Lead and motivate the team while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Ensure quality, food safety, service and safety standards are consistently maintained
• Manage operational issues, service recovery and critical situations
Profile
• Strong senior management experience in hotels, F&B, catering or related services
• A current GM of a large 5 star hotel would be highly regarded
• Indonesia experience
• Strong business acumen with solid strategic and operational management skills
• Strong understanding of catering, food service and logistics operations
• Strong financial and commercial management skills
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HSE standards
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong understanding of local culture and ability to manage large teams
• Excellent English both spoken and written
• Computer literate
• Hands on, proactive and results oriented
• Willing to travel and work in remote locations
