Beacon Group is seeking an enthusiastic Job Coach to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they develop workplace skills, build confidence, and achieve greater independence.
In this role, you'll work side-by-side with participants in a community-based work setting, providing coaching, guidance, and encouragement while assisting with litter collection and area beautification projects throughout Tucson. You'll also safely transport participants to and from work sites and help create a positive, supportive environment where everyone can succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct job coaching and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Teach and reinforce workplace skills, safety practices, teamwork, communication, and independence.
- Work alongside participants performing litter collection, trash removal, and general site cleanup.
- Assist individuals in meeting personal and team goals while promoting confidence and self-sufficiency.
- Safely transport participants to and from work sites using company vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure safe transportation practices.
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Complete required documentation and communicate participant progress with supervisors and support teams.
- Assist with worksite organization and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Minimum of six months of experience working with adults with disabilities.
- Increased technical skills related to field of work.
- Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
- Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.

- Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test.
- Article IX, and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance.
- Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to write accurate, clear, and informative case notes.
- Ability to tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.
- Ability to work, drive and travel independently to various sites.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
- Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
- Ability to use good judgment.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and use equipment.
- Ability to use power tools, equipment, and machinery.
