How you’ll make an impact
1. You will responsible for electrical design of power transformer order and tender designs in compliance with the market and sales strategy to meet the market needs.
2. You will coordinate design activities within a worldwide factories network.
3. You will influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.
4. You will lead the technical communications/discussions/decisions with the customers covering the whole business chain of value where technical skills are keys (tendering, sales, project execution, after sales services…).
5. You will support the local & global organization on S&M, SCM, quality activities, cost savings.
6. You will develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability of transformer products.
7. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete electrical, mechanical, simulation, prototyping, and testing.
8. You will provide punctual and effective technical support to factories, salespeople and customers.
9. You will lead project execution.
10. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electric Engineering with relevant experiences.
2. At least 5 years of experience working in electrical design for oil immersed power transformers (up to 220kV range , or more) , as a technical designer or similar role in the past.
3. Familiar with 2D mechanical design tools , such as Auto CAD.
4. Familiar with FEA knowledge, electromagnetism/thermal simulation
5. Understanding of Power Transformer Electrical, Design, Magnetics, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit, hydraulic and sound performance.
6. Familiar with transformer components (such as OLTC ,bushing , etc )
7. Knowledge of electrical/mechanical aspects of design.
8. Knowledge in product life cycle methods (i.e., specification, design, implementation, qualification).
9. Ability of completing technical documentation.
10. Strong team leadership and teamwork with cross-functional communications and influential skills.
11. Good project management skills and Customer focused.
12. Self-motivated, energized, and results oriented.
13. Creative thinking with demonstrated analytical skills and structured work approach.
14. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and process problems.
15. Ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
16. Willingness to travel.
17. Familiar on Microsoft office and tools.
18. Fluent in English (both speaking and writing) , overseas work/study experience is preferred.
