Description
As the exclusive outbound arm for the University, the sales team manages many of the sales efforts for ticketed sports. As a member of the team, we provide fans, partners, businesses, and constituents of the University with outreach and access to all ticket types, including season, partial, and group tickets, and ultimately providing experiences to grow involvement and revenue generation across the board while integrating fully within the department and the community.
Learfield Amplify is actively seeking an Account Executive, Premium Seating, for the university ticket sales team. Our highly valued sales representatives are a critical piece of our puzzle! Without their contributions, the property could not deliver on its commitments. We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Account Executive, Premium Seating, to provide the necessary support to the ticket sales team. The goal is to facilitate the university’s outreach and revenue generation to maximize and help the university grow in attendance and revenue. Responsibilities:
Sell suite and club season tickets, corporate packages, partial plans, and other premium seating products.
Conduct proactive outreach to current and past customers, as well as cold-call new sales leads, to generate new business and drive revenue.
Prospect and develop new business by engaging area businesses and individuals through phone calls, virtual appointments, networking events, and other sales activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects to generate repeat business, referrals, and long-term customer loyalty.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business with existing customers through upselling, cross-selling, and other premium seating offerings.
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established by management.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and season, ensuring a high-quality experience for all clients.
Work all home games and perform various ticket sales, customer service, and hospitality duties throughout the event.
Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, prospect interactions, and customer information within the applicable CRM and ticketing systems.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director, Revenue Generation.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of success in sales and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
Friendly, professional, and confident telephone manners with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong desire to learn the business, develop new skills, and grow professionally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively express ideas.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to take action beyond assigned responsibilities.
Creative and resourceful thinker with the ability to develop original solutions to business opportunities and challenges.
Positive, professional attitude and strong commitment to teamwork.
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and home games as required.
Previous success in ticket sales, preferably with a professional sports organization or Division I university.
1+ years of sales and/or customer service experience.
Experience with ticketing systems and CRM software, such as Salesforce, preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
The base pay for this position is $26.44 per hour. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance. Placement on the range may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and geographic location.The pay rate will comply with all minimum federal, state, and local wage/salary requirements.
