Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships with a variety of departments including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Leasing, and more
Link is seeking actively enrolled juniors who are interested in gaining real estate experience as part of our Asset Management team. Summer interns will gain exposure to multiple markets and industrial property types while working closely with Asset Management, Property Management, Construction Management, and external broker partners.
What You Will Do:
Support the leasing team by performing analytical work related to leasing activity, market trends and asset-level strategy.
Participate in broker meetings and help evaluate leasing strategies, lease restructuring opportunities and sale-leaseback analysis.
Partner with Asset Management, Property Management and Construction Management teams to become familiar with Link’s assets and support portfolio-level initiatives.
Assist full-time analysts and associates with underwriting, due diligence, closing processes and other investment-related analyses.
Conduct ad hoc analytical projects connected to operating and growing a large industrial real estate portfolio.
Gain market exposure by working with listing brokers to discuss market conditions, evaluate opportunities and support business plan strategy.
Qualifications:
Current junior, or rising senior, enrolled at an accredited four-year institution.
Pursuing a degree in real estate finance, real estate development, business, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, civil engineering or a related field.
Strong interest in commercial real estate, preferably industrial real estate, and real estate investing; no formal experience is required.
Basic understanding of real estate investment and financing concepts, including market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation and capital markets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to prioritize, multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with team members, brokers and senior leaders.
Must be actively enrolled in school at the time of internship consideration.
$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
