Overview
As a Professional Services Enterprise Deployment Specialist, you will be committed to delivering Waters’ legendary service to our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide (professional and/or technical) expertise on Waters' innovative product suite for multiple customer laboratories spanning across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and Government industries.
An Enterprise Deployment Specialist will provide high level support to customers in infrastructure design and implementation planning for the installation and upgrade of the Waters suite of network-based informatics products. An Enterprise Deployment Specialist will manager primary support for a designated region but can be requested to assist in other territories.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Implement the installation and upgrade of networked versions of Waters Empower and waters_connect Informatics software products.
- Install, configure, and support of Oracle databases embedded in informatics software products.
- Perform installation and ongoing support of Waters software implementations across Windows, VMware, Citrix, and RDS platforms, in both on-premises and Azure/AWS Cloud environments.
- Post installation maintenance, fault tolerance management, and disaster recovery support services to accounts utilizing Waters Informatics products.
- Deploy and support Waters Empower Cloud Applications.
- Mentor customers and Waters personnel on the technologies associated with successful provisioning and maintenance of networked Waters informatics products.
- Collaborate with Waters personnel to ensure efficient completion of customer informatics projects.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related Life Science.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience specializing in laboratory networked informatics software.
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Oracle, VMware, Citrix, and RDS, both on-prem and in Azure/AWS Cloud environments.
- Preference for individuals with recognized IT certifications.
- Experience supporting computer technologies within regulated pharmaceutical businesses.
