About The Role

As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you are the technical owner of a merchant's journey with Yuno from the first discovery call to the first transaction in production. You sit on both sides of the deal: you design the solution that wins it, and you build the integration that makes it real. Demos, technical discovery, architecture proposals, RFPs and security reviews on one side; integration planning, API guidance, testing, and go-live on the other.
You will work with merchants processing millions of transactions across LATAM, each with a different stack, a different set of PSPs, and a different definition of "done". You will map their payment flows, find where Yuno fits, and translate that into something an engineering team can actually ship. Quality is the standard here, not the goal: every payment, every user, every time. An integration that goes live with unresolved edge cases is not a finished integration.
No two merchants integrate the same way, and priorities shift as deals move. You will need to adapt fast, pick up new payment methods and markets as they come, and stay effective when the plan changes mid-cycle. You will also be the connection point between Sales, Product, Engineering, and the merchant's own developers, making sure nothing gets lost between what was promised and what was built.

Your Contribution Will Be

Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their payment stack, requirements, and constraints.

Run product demos and deliver technical presentations to engineering and product audiences.

Design payment orchestration solutions and integration architectures tailored to each merchant.

Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence with Sales.

Own the end-to-end implementation, from kickoff and integration plan to testing and go-live.

Guide merchant developers through Yuno's APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment method configurations.

Troubleshoot integration issues across payment flows, API logs, and third-party providers.

Build reusable demo environments, integration guides, and technical documentation that shorten future cycles.

Hand off live merchants to Technical Account Management with complete context and documentation.

Feed recurring merchant requirements and integration friction back to Product and Engineering.
Skills You Need
Minimum Qualifications

Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

+4 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical implementation, or integration roles.

Hands-on technical skills: REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, HTTP debugging, and at least one programming language for building demos and sample integrations.

Payments knowledge: gateways, PSPs, acquirers, card networks, 3DS, tokenization, refunds, chargebacks, and alternative payment methods.

Experience running technical conversations with both engineering teams and commercial stakeholders.

Proven track record delivering integration projects with external development teams on defined timelines.

Comfortable working with SQL and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or similar.

Ability to manage multiple merchants and deals in parallel without losing technical depth on any of them.

Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities and processes evolve quickly.
