Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for an Art Museum in Boston MA

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a contemporary cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and exhibits. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout galleries, exhibition spaces, public areas, staff areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor flow, entry procedures, and restricted-area access in accordance with site policies.
• Report incidents, hazards, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
