As a Design Engineer (m/w/d), you will develop our products from the initial design concept through to series production. You will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing, quality, and product requirements, taking ownership of your projects through industrialization and successful market launch.

Your responsibilities – Develop, design, and bring products into series production

• Product development with ownership: You develop our products from the initial design concept through to production readiness and take technical responsibility throughout the entire development process.
• Technical design and engineering: You create precise 3D models of products, production models, tools, and manufacturing aids, taking into account functionality, design, manufacturability, and cost.
• Product optimization: You analyze technical challenges, independently develop solutions, and implement necessary product and tooling modifications through to final series approval.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Together with Production, Product Management, Quality, Toolmaking, and external partners, you discuss, evaluate, and implement technical changes and confidently drive your projects through all development cycles.
• Industrialization: You support prototypes, pilot production, and production ramp-ups, ensuring that our products can be successfully manufactured in series in our wellness manufacturing locations.
• Documentation and data management: You create technical documentation, drawings, and CAD data and ensure their complete and timely availability.

Your profile – What you bring

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Engineering Design, or a comparable field. Alternatively, you have completed vocational training as a Technical Product Designer and gained relevant professional experience in Design Engineering.
• You have solid experience in 3D CAD design, ideally with PTC Creo, and enjoy developing technical solutions independently.
• You think beyond pure design and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and the path from product concept to series production.
• You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and communicate confidently with different functions and stakeholders.
• You have good Dutch and English language skills.
