Team's Impact
The Analytics API & MCP Platform team is responsible for delivering FactSet's analytics capabilities through scalable APIs, developer platforms, and AI-enabled solutions. The team enables clients, partners, and internal applications to access portfolio analytics, performance attribution, risk, and investment insights through modern integration channels including APIs, Power BI, Snowflake, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) applications.

Role Overview
The Associate Product Manager partners with clients, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve customer problems, and deliver impactful product outcomes. This role supports the full product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, execution, launch, adoption, and ongoing product optimization.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a product mindset and is passionate about APIs, developer experiences, data integration platforms, and AI-enabled workflows.
What You'll Do
Customer & Product Discovery
- Gather and analyse feedback from clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and product opportunities.
- Participate in product discovery activities, market research, and validation of new product concepts.
- Help define success metrics and measure product outcomes.
Product Development & Execution
- Define and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support prioritization of enhancements, client requests, defects, and technical improvements.
- Participate in testing, release validation, and post-release monitoring to ensure product quality.
Analytics API & MCP Platform Ownership
- Develop deep expertise in Analytics APIs, MCP solutions, developer workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Support client onboarding, implementation, and adoption of Analytics API and MCP solutions.
- Troubleshoot product, integration, entitlement, authentication, and configuration issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
Adoption, Monitoring & Enablement
- Monitor usage, client adoption, and key product health metrics.
- Help improve product instrumentation, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
- Create and maintain product documentation, knowledge base content, release communications, and onboarding materials.
- Support internal training and client enablement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Consulting, Sales, Support, and Client Success teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Contribute ideas that improve processes, product quality, scalability, and client experience.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a continuous learning mindset.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Product Development, Product Management, Business Analysis, Financial Technology, or a related role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA and working knowledge on Python preffered
- Understanding of REST APIs, API lifecycle management, authentication, and developer workflows.
- Experience with API testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Postman).
- Familiarity with JSON, OpenAPI specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience supporting integrations with Power BI, Snowflake, or similar analytics and data platforms.
- Exposure to AI, LLMs, MCP, copilots, or agent-based applications.
- Knowledge of portfolio analytics, performance attribution, risk analytics, or investment workflows.
