Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in oncology HEOR and RWE.

  • Knowledge of U.S. payer and formulary decision-making, integrated delivery networks, oncology care delivery, reimbursement processes, and evidence requirements.

  • Experience with cell therapy, gene therapy, other advanced therapy medicinal products, or treatments involving specialized centers and complex patient pathways.

  • Experience managing external research collaborations, data vendors, consultants, and contract research organizations.

  • Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications, congress presentations, or other high-impact scientific contributions.

  • Ability to communicate complex methodological and technical information clearly to scientific and nontechnical audiences.

  • Commitment to scientific integrity, patient-focused evidence generation, and high ethical and compliance standards.

  • Experience supporting interactions with NICE, G-BA, IQWiG, HAS, ICER, CMS, or other payer and HTA organizations.

In this Role You Will:

HEOR and RWE Strategy

  • Develop and lead the global HEOR and RWE strategy for Immatics’ portfolio, aligned with clinical development plans, medical strategy, regulatory priorities, market access objectives, and commercialization readiness.

  • Develop integrated evidence plans and evidence-generation roadmaps that identify key research questions, evidence gaps, study priorities, data sources, timelines, and communication plans.

  • Establish an HEOR and RWE framework that supports assets from early clinical development through pivotal studies, regulatory review, launch, and post-launch evidence generation.

  • Anticipate evidence requirements across the United States and other priority markets, incorporating payer, reimbursement, HTA, and health-policy considerations into development plans.

  • Develop annual HEOR/RWE objectives, operating plans, resource requirements, and budgets.

Evidence Generation and Research Execution

  • Design and oversee HEOR and RWE studies. Develop evidence that characterizes the complete patient and healthcare-system impact of personalized cell therapy, including testing, referral, treatment-center infrastructure, manufacturing intervals, bridging therapy, hospitalization, adverse-event management, follow-up care, and long-term outcomes.

  • Identify fit-for-purpose real-world data sources, including electronic health records, claims databases, registries, genomic and biomarker datasets, specialty pharmacy or treatment-center data, and linked data platforms.

  • Oversee external research organizations, consultants, data vendors, academic collaborators, and other partners, including study design, contracting, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and quality.

Clinical Development and Launch Readiness

  • Generate evidence addressing the unique value considerations of potentially durable oncology therapies, including limitations of conventional short-term economic assessments and uncertainty associated with extrapolating long-term benefit.

  • Support payer and HTA evidence requirements, formulary submissions, value dossiers, health-economic models, scientific advice engagements, and other access-related materials.

  • ·Collaborate with Market Access and Medical Affairs to develop evidence-based tools and resources for appropriate scientific exchange with healthcare decision-makers.

External Engagement and Scientific Communication

  • Establish and maintain relationships with HEOR experts, oncology researchers, payers, HTA stakeholders, healthcare-system leaders, treatment centers, patient organizations, and real-world data partners.

  • Lead external research collaborations with academic institutions, oncology networks, integrated delivery systems, payer organizations, and treatment centers.

  • Present complex research findings clearly and credibly to executive leadership, cross-functional teams, external experts, payers, policymakers, and scientific audiences.
