Quality Manager - Mature Engine Services (f/m/d)

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Quality Manager in Mature Engine Services (f/m/d) with a focus on the V2500 engine program.  
Reporting to the Senior Customer Quality Manager in Rolls Royce Deutschland and the Sub-System Executive/Program Manager RRD you will have responsibility across all Civil Mature Engines programs including Rolls-Royce North America. The role will be located in RRD in Dahlewitz, co-located with the V2500 programme team. You will drive the Quality performance and provide governance of its processes in line with the agreed Customer Quality requirements. You will manage the deployment of improvement activities to focus upon critical quality issues and identified risks. 

What will you be doing? 

• Manage the working level customer relationships regarding quality. 

• Govern the delivery of Quality performance (KPIs) to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in meeting customer requirements and business goals.  

• Capture and flow down the relevant regulations, the business strategy and the voice of the customer into appropriate areas of the value stream. 

• Capture and drive the improvement of customer satisfaction for quality performance. 

• Drive a customer quality culture within the business, project and operational value stream. 

• Drive the continuous improvement activities of customer related quality processes. 

• Drive the optimum approach of reactive, preventative and predictive activity for the scope of work including read across 

• Resolve all customer problems relating to any disruptions by enacting correct intervention approaches and manage all related system transactions. 

What are we looking for: 

• Degree in engineering / industrial engineering or quality management 

• Comprehensive working experience relevant to Aerospace Quality 

• Proven track record of problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies, preferably 8D and Green Belt accredited  

• Competent on the relevant international regulations and business management system standards and processes (e.g. PART 21, AS9100, AS13100, RRMS (ARIS) etc.) 

• Well-developed customer and relationship management skills to work as part of the wider Mature Engines team and with other internal and external stakeholders 

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
