Responsibilities
Ensure stability for critical Trading platforms and application support and development in a global, team-oriented environment.
Utilize experience with distributed application platforms, Windows, UNIX, LINUX, SQL.
Lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-ups.
Monitor tools, such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace.
Use equities asset class and related trade processing flows.
Design and develop programs using skills, Python, Unix/scripting, and Java.
Utilize knowledge of ITIL & SDLC principles and execution.
Coordinate with offshore/onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using Java, SpringBoot, and Node;
Utilizing customer UI and interaction techniques to build frictionless multiple factor user authentication, credential maintenance and authentication step up flows in digital channels;
Engineering and designing continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tools, version control, and test-driven development tools by utilizing Java and JavaScript;
Designing test driven automation frameworks using middleware technologies SOAPUI, REST, XML, and JSON;
Utilizing Java, Python, Perl and Unix Shell scripting to develop automation scripts, backend services, system utilities, batch processing jobs, and production support tools for enterprise applications; and,
Using enterprise monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and ITRS Geneos for real-time application monitoring, performance analysis, alerting, incident diagnosis, and root cause analysis in large-scale production environments.
