This posting is for a part-time position. Part-time employees are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance or other full-time benefits.

Where You'll Work

Drivers are based out of our Butler County locations in:

  • Hamilton

  • Middletown

  • Oxford

We operate service seven days a week, up to 23 hours per day, offering a variety of schedules to fit operational needs.

What You'll Do

As a BCRTA Vehicle Operator, you'll:

  • Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles

  • Provide exceptional customer service to every passenger

  • Help people travel safely throughout Butler County

  • Work independently while following established routes and procedures

  • Use onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications (we'll train you!)

  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Enjoy serving others and working with the public

  • Are dependable and arrive on time

  • Can work independently and make sound decisions

  • Are comfortable learning new technology

  • Have excellent safety awareness

Minimum Qualifications

  • Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement

  • Clean driving record (fewer than four points)

  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination

  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screen

  • Ability to pass state and national background checks
