SAH-Sutter Amador HospitalPosition Overview:
Performs routine tasks of retrieving and filing x-ray film files. Processes requests for x-ray records and assists in the accurate, timely acquisition and distribution of both digital and hardcopy patient records. Contributes to efficient functioning of the department through prompt response to all concerns related to x-ray records.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
- HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients and families both verbally and in writing.
- Computer skills with PACS, RIS and/or other Imaging related software.
- Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

Pay Range is $25.00 to $35.00 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
