Role Purpose
The Assistance Vice President, Global Intelligence & Resiliency by Design, plays a critical role within the Enterprise Resilience Office, supporting the team in embedding resiliency by design across the firm’s global footprint. The role is heavily weighted toward ensuring resilience considerations are systematically integrated into business change, technology transformation, operating model evolution and strategic initiatives, while being informed by forward-looking resilience intelligence.
The AVP operates with a global remit, supporting consistent enterprise standards while addressing regional regulatory expectations across the State Street markets, and acts as a trusted execution partner for the team on both strategic initiatives and ad-hoc executive requests.
Key Responsibilities
Resiliency by Design (Primary Focus)
- Assist embedding resiliency-by-design principles into global change initiatives, technology modernisation, product development and operating model changes.
- Support development, maintenance and rollout of global resiliency-by-design standards, frameworks and guidance.
- Collaborate with business, technology, cyber and risk stakeholders to ensure resiliency is considered early in the lifecycle of initiatives, aligned to global regulatory expectations.
- Support assessments of resiliency-by-design adoption and maturity across regions, identifying gaps and improvement actions.
- Enable consistent global application of resiliency-by-design while accommodating regional regulatory nuance (US, Europe, APAC).
Resilience Intelligence (Supporting)
- Support resilience intelligence activities that inform resiliency-by-design decisions, including horizon scanning, emerging risk analysis and vulnerability identification.
- Support translation of resilience intelligence into practical design guidance and prioritisation inputs.
- Support preparation of executive and regulatory-facing insights on global and regional resilience risk drivers.
Projects, Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide hands-on delivery and project management support across global resiliency-by-design initiatives.
- Support regulatory-driven commitments across the US, Europe and APAC through analysis, evidence and briefing materials.
- Engage globally with senior stakeholders and prepare executive-ready materials for governance forums.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in operational resilience, enterprise risk, technology or cyber resilience within a global financial institution.
- Strong understanding of resiliency-by-design concepts and their application to change and transformation.
- Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional regulatory expectations (e.g. US, UK/EU, APAC).
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role is central to embedding resiliency by design as a core enterprise capability, enabling the firm to deliver consistent, regulatorily credible and sustainable operational resilience across regions.
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
