ROLE SUMMARY
At Pfizer Oncology, our mission is to "Outdo Cancer" by developing transformative therapies that make a meaningful impact for patients. Pfizer Oncology currently boasts an industry-leading portfolio spanning genitourinary (GU) cancers—including bladder and prostate—as well as breast, hematology-oncology, gastrointestinal-oncology, and thoracic cancers.
The US Prostate Cancer Business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Pfizer. It is anchored by a multibillion-dollar asset in XTANDI, as well as the more recently launched products in ORGOVYX and Talzenna (talazoparib) in metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
Talzenna launched its first indication in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (TALAPRO-2) in June 2023, and we are growing its market presence in HRR-mutated mCRPC while preparing for a potential future indication in HRR-mutated metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) (TALAPRO-3). With this lifecycle opportunity, TALZENNA has the potential to deliver over $1B in peak revenues globally and contribute meaningfully to our growing Prostate portfolio.
