## About this Role

We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist with experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, cloud platforms or FinOps. The role will focus on cloud financial management, cost analysis and the practical application of FinOps principles across major public cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS experience. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with effective stakeholder communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams

## What you’ll do

• Analyse cloud expenditure and billing data across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Evaluate cloud cost levers relating to compute, storage, networking, commitments and discounts.
• Support cloud financial management activities using established FinOps principles and methodologies.
• Analyse cloud usage, pricing models and billing mechanisms to identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Use Microsoft Excel and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate financial and operational insights.
• Apply scripting and automation, particularly Python, to improve cloud data analysis where appropriate.
• Prepare clear presentations and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities and deliver work within agreed deadlines.

## Who you are

• You have practical experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or a FinOps role.
• You have hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• You understand cloud financial concepts, pricing models and billing mechanisms across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• You understand how services such as Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3 are billed.
• You are familiar with FinOps principles and cloud finance management.
• You are proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or Python for analysis and automation is desirable.
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and close attention to detail.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You can work independently, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
