- Own the external reporting calendar, coordinating deadlines, dependencies, contributors, and approvals across multiple teams.
- Manage the reporting process within Workiva, including linking, version control, review workflows, access, and filing support.
- Coordinate and review XBRL tagging and related quality-control processes.
- Partner with external auditors on quarterly reviews, annual audits, financial reporting, and disclosure requirements.
- Serve as a resource on U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, financial statement presentation, and disclosures.
- Support technical accounting analyses, accounting policies, and disclosure conclusions for significant transactions.
- Maintain and strengthen SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop assigned team members while ensuring high-quality reporting deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to make external reporting more accurate, efficient, scalable, and well controlled.
- Support IPO-readiness and public-company reporting initiatives, including reporting processes, policies, controls, and disclosure readiness.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5–7+ years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience, including meaningful SEC reporting experience.
- Active CPA license required.
- Public-company financial reporting experience.
- Hands-on experience completing multiple annual and quarterly SEC reporting cycles, including preparation of 10-K and 10-Q filings.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and disclosure requirements.
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and coordinating deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, judgment, communication skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to take ownership, identify issues, and drive them through resolution.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with Accounting, business partners, leadership, auditors, and external advisors.
