Your Role     

The ERP Finance Modernization & Transformation Lead is responsible for driving the strategic evolution of Vantive's global finance technology landscape, enabling digital transformation, intelligent automation, and continuous process innovation across the enterprise. This role provides functional and technology leadership for finance platforms integrated with the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP ecosystem, while shaping the future-state architecture that supports scalable, efficient, and data-driven finance operations. 

The position focuses on modernizing end-to-end finance processes through the implementation of advanced technologies, AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, and JDE Orchestration capabilities. The role oversees business-critical finance platforms including regional eInvoicing solutions, Coupa, Concur, GetPaid, Kyriba, SnapPay, and the Pega platform for finance master data management, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and business value realization across the finance technology portfolio. 

As a key leader in Finance Transformation, the ERP Finance Modernization & Transformation Lead will identify opportunities to automate manual processes, leverage artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, improve data quality, strengthen governance, and accelerate decision-making through modern digital capabilities. The role will partner closely with Finance, IT, Shared Services, and business stakeholders to redesign processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable a best-in-class finance ecosystem. 

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in JD Edwards Financials with experience in ERP modernization, intelligent automation, systems integration, and digital finance transformation. This individual will champion the adoption of JDE Orchestrator, AI-powered solutions, low-code technologies, and modern integration frameworks to streamline financial operations, improve compliance, and enhance the user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing  

Finance Transformation, Modernization & Digital Innovation 

• Define and execute the Finance Technology Modernization roadmap aligned with Vantive's strategic objectives, driving operational excellence, automation, and innovation across the finance ecosystem. 

• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent automation, machine learning, and digital technologies to improve finance processes, controls, analytics, and decision-making. 

• Lead the transformation of finance applications and integrations to support a scalable, agile, and future-ready finance operating model. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process simplification, standardization, automation, compliance, and user experience. 

ERP Platform Leadership & JDE Orchestration 

• Serve as the business and technology owner for finance applications integrated with the JD Edwards ecosystem, ensuring alignment with global finance processes, enterprise architecture standards, and business objectives. 

• Champion the adoption and expansion of JDE Orchestrator, workflow automation, low-code solutions, and integration technologies to eliminate manual activities and increase operational efficiency. 

• Define the future-state integration architecture between JDE and strategic finance applications, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability. 

• Establish governance and best practices for finance automation, orchestration, and digital process execution across the enterprise. 

Finance Process Transformation & Business Partnership 

• Partner with Finance, Treasury, Shared Services, AP, AR, Tax, Compliance, and Operations leaders to design and implement modern, technology-enabled finance processes. 

• Lead initiatives focused on transforming Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, and Payment processes through automation and digital innovation. 

• Provide strategic guidance on how emerging technologies and AI capabilities can improve finance operations, financial controls, and business outcomes. 

• Promote a data-driven decision-making culture through improved finance analytics, automation, and process visibility. 

Enterprise Architecture & Solution Delivery 

• Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of finance technology solutions, integrations, and transformation initiatives. 

• Conduct business process assessments and identify opportunities for modernization, rationalization, and automation. 

• Collaborate with technical teams to implement scalable solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt. 

• Lead solution architecture discussions ensuring alignment with enterprise integration, security, compliance, and data management standards. 

• Drive implementation of cloud, API-based, and event-driven integration strategies supporting long-term modernization goals. 

Application Modernization & TSA Exit Leadership 

• Lead efforts to assess, document, rationalize, and modernize inherited finance systems and integrations during Vantive's post-separation journey. 

• Drive technology transition initiatives supporting TSA exits while building sustainable, independent finance capabilities. 

• Analyze legacy processes and applications to identify opportunities for transformation, automation, elimination, or consolidation. 

• Develop future-state process and technology roadmaps that reduce complexity and improve business agility. 

Operational Excellence, Support & Continuous Improvement 

• Provide leadership and governance for finance application performance, stability, and continuous improvement. 

• Lead root-cause analysis efforts for complex cross-functional business and integration issues. 

• Define and oversee end-to-end testing strategies, including integration, automation, regression, and business process validation. 

• Drive improvements in operational controls, compliance monitoring, system performance, and user adoption. 

• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and process excellence. 

What You'll Bring 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 

• Deep understanding of finance processes and operating models across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, Payments, and Shared Services. 

• Demonstrated experience leading Finance Transformation, ERP Modernization, Digital Transformation, or Intelligent Automation initiatives. 

• Strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience, preferably with JD Edwards 9.2 and JDE Orchestrator. 

• Experience designing and implementing complex integrations across enterprise finance platforms and ERP ecosystems. 

• Experience with one or more strategic finance applications including Coupa, Concur, Kyriba, GetPaid, Vertex, Pega, eInvoicing, banking, or payment platforms. 

• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, low-code platforms, or intelligent process automation technologies. 

• Experience with enterprise integration technologies including APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based solutions. 

• Strong understanding of Finance Master Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality principles. 

• Experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, divestitures, TSA exits, or large-scale transformation programs. 

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic objectives into technology-enabled solutions. 

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. 

• Experience working in global, matrixed, and multicultural organizations.
