Job Description:
VP, Enterprise Technology – People & Organization, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability
Are you ready to shape the digital future for over 140,000+ Associates worldwide? As the VP, Enterprise Technology – People & Organization (HR), Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, you will sit at the helm of Mars’ global digital transformation. You will define and execute the technology vision across our core People & Organization, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability ecosystems, orchestrating cutting-edge product platforms, data solutions, and AI capabilities. In this high-visibility role, you will lead critical enterprise-wide milestones—including harmonizing federated systems and leading large-scale integrations like Kellanova—to build a frictionless, modern, and world-class Associate experience.
Operating at the strategic intersection of business ambition and technological innovation, you will champion a modern, product-centric operating model across a global, federated enterprise. You will serve as the trusted advisor to C-suite and functional leadership, empowering high-performing global teams, scaling Agile and DevOps practices, and harnessing next-generation technologies to deliver sustainable, value-driven business outcomes.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
15+ years of technology leadership experience spearheading enterprise-scale digital and technology organizations within complex, global environments.
Deep HR & corporate tech ecosystem expertise, with proven hands-on leadership across core enterprise platforms—Workday and ServiceNow are essential.
Proven track record in digital transformation & M&A integration, including scaling product-led operating models, Agile/DevOps adoption, and harmonizing federated IT architectures.
Visionary grasp of AI, analytics, and data-driven decision-making, with a passion for designing seamless, end-to-end Associate journeys (spanning talent, payroll, time & attendance, and corporate affairs).
Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management, with demonstrated success influencing across federated business units, global delivery centers, and senior leadership.
Strong vendor and ecosystem governance, with extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar global vendor partnerships and strategic alliances.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent); prior experience navigating large matrixed consumer goods (CPG), pharma, or tech enterprise environments.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Enterprise Technology Leadership & Strategy: Lead the end-to-end strategy, architecture, delivery, and evolution of technology capabilities across P&O, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability, aligning functional roadmaps with Mars’ enterprise digital agenda.
Product & Platform Operating Model: Champion and scale a product-based operating model with full lifecycle ownership of key enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) and custom applications, embedding Agile, DevOps, and AI-enabled delivery practices.
Cross-Functional Value & Integration Orchestration: Drive high-impact value creation and technology convergence across enterprise domains, ensuring smooth heritage integrations (e.g., Kellanova) while balancing federated needs with global commonality.
Digital Transformation & Change Leadership: Direct enterprise-scale transformation programs, championing robust organizational change management, adoption strategies, and executive escalations to ensure measurable business outcomes.
Stakeholder & Ecosystem Partnership: Build trusted relationships with senior executives across P&O, Corporate Affairs, Mars Global Services (MGS), and segment technology organizations (CTIO, GDO, CDIO).
Delivery & Operational Excellence: Oversee global technology delivery teams, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient 24/7 operations with rigorous SLA management, data privacy, and enterprise architecture compliance.
Strategic Vendor & Partner Management: Direct strategic vendor relationships and commercial contracting, driving long-term ecosystem sustainability, cost efficiency, and performance accountability.
Innovation & Future-Readiness: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI advancements, and industry trends to foster a culture of experimentation and keep Mars at the forefront of workforce technology.
