For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- Degree in Technology or Computer Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience developing with Java 8 or above.
- Comfortable navigating and working within a Linux environment.
- Solid experience with JUnit, Maven, and Git.
- Practical experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Java Spark and Hive.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Sharp organizational, analytical, and problem-solving instincts.
- Good working knowledge of relational databases.
- A self-starter who thrives with autonomy, yet brings a genuine team spirit and sense of responsibility to everything you do.
- Portuguese as a preferred main language.
- Fluency in English (B2 Level), French is a plus (not mandatory).
- Availability for hybrid work, 2x a week, based in Porto (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
