Position Overview

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to K–2 and high school students in resource classroom settings, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Implement and monitor IEPs, accommodations, and individualized instructional strategies to support student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with special education requirements.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification required; alternative teaching certifications are not accepted
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification
