Job Description
Product Manager: FactoryTalk Activations
The Product Manager role is the development and advocacy owner of a product who will work alongside engineering, business, and sales teams to bring technologies to market. Product Managers have the responsibility to ensure that our customers' voices and use cases are integrated into our development plans. An impactful Product Manager will observe major technology trends that they then position into our development cycles. This Product Manager will have well developed skills in managing complexity with multiple stakeholder teams that requires interpersonal skills, prioritization, simplification, and communication.
This Product Manager role will have responsibility for the FactoryTalk Activation infrastructure products which standardize and progress how our FactoryTalk software products are licensed and put into use. This Product Manager will lead and influence how software products across the company adopt and standardize our activations. Additionally, this role will create and evangelize how the activation technologies themselves evolve to meet market demands such as new business models, flexible use cases, and customer centric visibility and management. This Product Manager will be responsible for the relationship with global engineering teams that design and develop the technology, ensuring that the final output achieves our goals.
You will report to the Business Manager, Design Software and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the intake of customer and industry needs in their technology area.
- Craft meaningful product capabilities that align with customer demands for value including business justification, technical requirements.
- Lead SAFe habits within our organization processes
- Manage the progression of capabilities in enterprise tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Jama
- Balance and prioritize demands with funding, resources, and other constraints.
- Represent their technologies in customer facing meetings and events.
- Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to support execution plans.
- Communicate extensively with stakeholders on progress, changes, forecasts.
- Respond to new constraints or prioritization that impact development plans.
- Seek out and participate in as many customer interactions as possible.
- Create a sustainable vision for their technologies that anticipates industry trends and articulates a strong "why" for internal and external stakeholders.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of automation systems and industrial applications including Programmable Controllers, Network Infrastructure, Visualization.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of software licensing, Codemeter products, Flexera Products.
- Strong presentation and collaboration skills
- Business and/or project experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Global and cultural awareness
