About the Role
Our Medical Assistants are an important part of the patient experience. You'll work alongside our clinical team to help keep the clinic running smoothly while providing patients with professional, compassionate care.
This is a hands-on position that's ideal for someone who enjoys variety, stays organized, and thrives in a busy medical environment.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Take manual vital signs
- Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections according to provider orders
- Maintain laboratory equipment and accurately document lab results and quality controls
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens for in-house testing and outside facilities
- Assist with inventory management and ordering
- Communicate with the clinic team to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Provide support to front desk operations when needed
- Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service

What You'll Need
- Physical proof of a High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- At least 3 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy experience in a medical setting OR 180 documented externship hours
- Venipuncture and injection experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
Schedule & Availability
This is a 40-hour full-time position with a flexible schedule. There is no set weekly schedule, but flexibility and availability during our highest-need days is important.
Most-needed availability: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Clinic Hours
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, up to 3 Saturdays per month
Training: Two full weeks of paid, mandatory training are required Monday–Friday.
