We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our growing Advisory Team to help us in Settlement Administration Services.

What work you will be responsible for:
The Deputy Manager, Settlement Administration Services position performs various assigned tasks related to client engagements. The Deputy Manager communicates with team members, vendors, and clients, and performs various project management and data analysis functions. As the Deputy Manager assumes and demonstrates the ability to perform greater levels of responsibility, work assignments of increasing difficulty and complexity are assigned. The position may supervise the work of Staff and Intern Consultants, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Legal Administration professionals, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance support.
Allocate resources and manage team workload, and assist leadership with capacity planning, resource forecasting, and operational planning, to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Conduct quality reviews, and establish and monitor quality control measures and process compliance standards, to maintain consistency, confidentiality, and adherence to firm standards and protocols.
Support project planning and documentation by gathering requirements.
Oversee multiple class action administration and legal administration engagements simultaneously, completing tasks efficiently and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Comply with professional and firm requirements, including time entry and employee handbook guidelines.
Communicate issues or concerns to supervisors and proactively seek guidance when needed.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and perform tasks with professionalism and integrity.
Develop proficiency in firm software, training materials, and presentations while exhibiting adaptability and leadership skills
Drive process enhancement initiatives—including identifying automation opportunities and collaborating with technology teams—to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of Legal Administration operations.
Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, operational guidelines, and best practices across projects.
Analyze operational data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership on productivity improvements, risk reduction, and project performance.
Support knowledge management initiatives and establish reusable templates, training materials, and process repositories.
Other Responsibilities:
Able to periodically work overtime and weekends to meet project or client needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Post graduate / Bachelor’s degree in fields related to Business, Legal, Information Systems and Decision Sciences, Data/Computer Science, Marketing/Communications, or an approved related field is required.
Preferred / Desired Skills:
Five or more years of consulting advisory (Legal Administration/ Settlement Administration) or knowledge or prior/academic experience related to (a) Legal Administration consulting and advisory services or (b) Legal Administration project management services is preferred.
Possess a capacity for quickly understanding new concepts, workflows, and systems.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a related credential preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Professionally and appropriately communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and proactive nature.
Critical thinking skill capabilities are essential.
Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Able to work in a highly organized manner within a fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with teams.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook), Power BI, Monday.com, Power Automate, or similar project management and automation tools.
