About the Role
Our client is looking to hire an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure.
This role is ideal for a hands-on DevOps professional with strong AWS experience, a background in cloud migration and modernization, and the ability to build robust automation and CI/CD practices across customer projects.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
- Lead AWS migration and modernization initiatives from legacy environments to cloud-based solutions.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Architect deployment strategies focused on high availability, fault tolerance, performance, and security.
- Establish internal DevOps processes and workflows that improve project delivery and collaboration.
- Implement and manage containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Use tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI to automate software delivery.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles across infrastructure and deployment decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
- Stay informed on developments in Data, AI, and Machine Learning and apply relevant technologies when appropriate.
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps and AWS infrastructure experience.
- Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
- Proven experience with AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, CircleCI, or similar tools.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Solid knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- AWS Professional and Specialty certifications are highly valued.
- Exposure to Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
