QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
College degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)
Experience and Training:
Two years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in administrative, sales, or health related disciplines.
Experience in higher education and/or healthcare field (preferred)
Experience in networking in a healthcare environment (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and maintenance of confidentiality
Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently is required.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email communication and internet browsing
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Qualtrics and Adobe (preferred)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports the execution of both the curriculum and clinical education program for approximately 180 students through flexibility, good communication skills and teamwork.
With training, will need to gain proficiency of Program selected clinical management databases, making prior experience with databases preferred.
Serves as database administrator for program selected clinical management platform database to upload and manage all content. This includes student onboarding, entering new sites, ensuring site requirements and onboarding information is up to date, setting up clinical experiences, managing student placements, sending evaluations and emails through program selected clinical management platform database, checking student assignments and reporting discrepancies to DCE/ADCE, etc.
Responsible for obtaining, coordinating, and scheduling of clinical experiences in conjunction with the DCE.
Responsible for site specific paperwork, ensuring that students complete the necessary paperwork, and that paperwork is sent promptly to the appropriate clinical site.
Maintains communication with current clinical partners.
Communicates with potential clinical partners to establish additional contracts to broaden scope of clinical placement sites.
Assists the DCE, ADCE and DPT Program Chair in the preparation of administrative and annual reports.
Assists in other duties as assigned by the DCE, ADCE and DPT Program Chair.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
It is imperative that this person is reliable and available to the Director(s) of Clinical Education, Assistant Director of Clinical Education, students and clinical affiliates.
