Full Job Description: District Strategy Program Manager
Salary Grade: Business Grade 08/ BG-08

Position Summary:The District Strategy Program Manager manages the cycles and routines of measure, implement, monitor, and adjust for the district’s strategic agenda, including work plans, status reporting, risk tracking, and decision documentation. Working with building leaders, district leaders, and cabinet-level stakeholders, the position supports the translation of enterprise-level plans into department budgets and core work, and coordinates with the Data and Analytics team on the reporting behind the strategic agenda.
Key Functions:
● Translates district strategy into clear, actionable terms for schools and departments
● Builds and maintains work plans, project routines, and management tools
● Tracks progress, identifies risks, and documents decisions and lessons learned
● Engages building and district leaders in implementing the strategic agenda
● Coordinates district data and reporting needs with the Data and Analytics team
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible related experience totaling four (4) years
● Advanced degree preferred
Experience:
● Three (3) years of project management experience required
● Three (3) years of education management experience required
● Training in and experience with project management tools and fundamentals, including change management, risk management, and knowledge management, preferred
● Experience used to satisfy the education equivalency also counts toward the experience required above.
Licenses and Certifications:
● Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Proficiency in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
● Strong task and project management skills
● Ability to support budget planning and forecasting
● Strong workshop facilitation and oral presentation skills
● Ability to conduct data analysis
● Ability to identify and assess project risks and maintain risk documentation
● Strong written communication skills, including documenting decisions and lessons learned
● Ability to build working relations with school district leaders.
