  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • A committed and reliable approach to your work.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a wider team.
  • Previous experience within a care home environment is desirable but not essential.

Your Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will be expected to:

  • Attend staff meetings and contribute positively to the team.
  • Maintain your personal and professional development in line with the changing needs of the home.
  • Complete all training required by the home and provide evidence of any outstanding or completed training where necessary.
  • Participate in appropriate training and support colleagues with their development and learning.
  • Understand your safeguarding responsibilities and develop the knowledge and skills required to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect.
  • Ensure safeguarding practices recognise and promote the choice, dignity and control of adults who require care and support.
  • Follow safeguarding and whistleblowing policies and procedures at all times.
