Scheduler

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or Process Plant environment.

Scope of Works:

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all maintenance activities to ensure plant or facility operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed maintenance schedules by aligning approved work orders with available manpower, tools, materials, and equipment.
• This includes prioritizing maintenance requests, estimating resource requirements, and ensuring that preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities are executed at the right time with minimal disruption to operations.
• Key duties include allocating resources, monitoring work progress, adjusting schedules for urgent or emergency tasks, and utilizing systems such as CMMS to track work orders and performance. The role also involves leading scheduling meetings, communicating updates to stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while maximizing equipment reliability and plant availability.

Technical Knowledge:

• Work order scheduling and confirmation
• Resource leveling and manpower distribution
• Integrating CMMS (e.g., SAP) with scheduling tools (Primavera P6)
• Monitoring schedule progress and performance
• Identifying conflicts, peak loads, and optimization opportunities
• Leading weekly scheduling meetings (WSM)
