Under the supervision of a Business and Transactions lawyer, a Trust and Estates Paralegal will assist more senior paralegals administer complex estates and trusts, independently administer estates and trusts and post account information to a fiduciary accounting program.

Your Role:

As a Trusts and Estates Paralegal within our Private Client Services team, you will:

  • Maintain financial records for use in fiduciary accounting and tax preparation.

  • Prepare fiduciary accountings.

  • Prepare probate documents and related papers.

  • Identify, gather and arrange valuation of decedent’s assets and perform tasks required to administer estates from probate through final settlement.

  • Have frequent interaction with clients and their advisors.

  • Prepare probate documents and related papers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Required Experience:

A bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred, and previous relevant experience in Trust and Estates. Experience with accounting and tax preparation software such as OneSource/Zane, GEMs, or ProSystem fx, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
