Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Fullt Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA
Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM
Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Free Parking.
As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and support a professional, controlled environment for personnel and guests.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
