Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a Sr Sales Analyst based out of our Bentonville, AR office. Turning data into actionable insights every day, this role is focused on analyzing sales to drive sales and business growth. The position will leverage internal sales data, Circana data, and customer POS data to develop reports and recommendations that support the business. Working closely with Customer Business Managers and commercial leadership, this role will create and maintain reporting tools, identify consumer and business trends, and translate data into meaningful insights. In addition to supporting day-to-day analytics and forecasting activities, this position will also support eCommerce initiatives, including item setup and digital shelf management through Item360.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to

• Analyze and interpret internal, Circana, and customer POS data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that drive business growth and improve decision-making.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance sales reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical resources to support customer business managers and commercial leadership.

• Translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.

• Support monthly SKU-level forecasting activities by analyzing baseline demand, seasonality, promotional activity, sales trends, and inventory levels to improve forecast accuracy.

• Provide weekly and monthly category and subcategory performance updates to sales and leadership teams, including recommendations to support assortment and category growth strategies.

• Create and support data integration requirements and interface specifications for customer, third-party, and internal data sources used in sales reporting and analytical systems.

• Assist with the implementation and adoption of sales analytics tools and help establish understanding of key performance metrics to support omni-channel growth opportunities.

• Work directly within customer systems, including Walmart platforms, to support sales execution, reporting, and business management activities.

• Support line review preparation, business analysis, seasonal program recaps, and other customer-facing presentations and business reviews.

• Coordinate sample procurement and delivery activities to support customer initiatives and sales team objectives.

• Manage item setup processes and support digital shelf and product content management through Item360 and other eCommerce platforms.

• Monitor business performance and consumer trends to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging insights that support commercial objectives.

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective execution of business initiatives.

 

Important Details:

• This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Bentonville, AR office.
• The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $79,900.00 - 119,900.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field

• 2-3 years of progressive, relevant business experience.

• Experience with Data Analytics, Statistical programming languages

• Proven ability to translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analysis design and translate data into insights and recommendations

• Display competence in automating processes and creating efficiencies in reporting, business planning and execution.

• Demonstrated aptitude for creatively solving problems in a fast paced and high intensity environment.

• Experience extracting data from retail POS systems Retail Link, IRI, and Atlas experience is a plus.
