Location: Basildon

Salary: £13 per hour

Hours: 5pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday

 

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy fulfilment and warehouse operation in Basildon.

This is an evening warehouse role suited to someone with a valid forklift licence and previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, distribution, logistics or industrial environment.

 

What You’ll Do

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently

• Load and unload goods and move stock around the warehouse

• Support the wider warehouse and fulfilment team with day-to-day operations

• Follow site safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines

• Assist with stock movements and general warehouse duties when required

• Keep the working area clean, organised and safe

 

What We’re Looking For

• A valid forklift licence is essential

• Counterbalance forklift experience

• Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution or fulfilment experience would be beneficial

• Good awareness of workplace health and safety

• Reliable and comfortable working evening shifts

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

 

Who Might Suit This Role

This role could suit an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Forklift Operator or Warehouse Operative with forklift experience.

It may also be suitable for candidates with experience in logistics, distribution centres, stock handling, goods-in, goods-out or general warehouse operations who hold the required forklift licence.
