CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn $78,000–$100,000 per year hauling no-touch intermodal freight within a 250-mile radius of Mechanicville, New York. This local position offers daily home time, flexible shift options, and a $10,000 bonus.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,800–$1,950
• Bonus: $10,000
• Miles/Week: Approximately 1,800
• Drop-and-hook pay: $40 per load
• Live load/unload pay: $65 per load
• Hazmat pay: $20 per load

Job Details

• Deliver freight between local rail yards and customers within a 250-mile radius of Mechanicville, NY.
• No New York City routes.
• No-touch freight.
• Drivers report daily to the ramp at 101 Route 67, Mechanicville, NY 12118.
• Slip seating is required.
• Trucks must remain at the ramp during time off.
• Uniform shirts are required; five are provided at hire, with quarterly replacement allotments.

Shift Details

• Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday
• Approximate start times of 6:00 PM or 9:00 PM
• Drivers must be willing to work either shift
• Approximately 12-hour shifts
• Home daily

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• No SAP drivers
• Willingness to work either available shift
• Ability to operate no-touch intermodal equipment
• Uniform compliance required

PTO & Holiday Benefits

• Initial allotment: 18 paid days—12 PTO days and 6 holidays
• After 1–5 years: 22 paid days—16 PTO days and 6 holidays
• After 6–13 years: 27 paid days—21 PTO days and 6 holidays
• After 14–18 years: 30 paid days—24 PTO days and 6 holidays
• After 19+ years: 32 paid days—26 PTO days and 6 holidays
• Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day: May require work
